Hon. Fatoba made this known in a greeting message to Muslims on the celebration of this year’s Eid-Al fitr in Abuja.

He congratulated the adherent of Islamic faith for the successful completion of the fasting period in line with the doctrine and commandment of Almighty Allah as enshrined in the Holy Quran.

“I want to use this opportunity to congratulate all Muslim faithfuls in Ekiti state and Nigeria as a whole for the successful completion of the fasting period in fulfilment of their religious doctrine as commanded by Almighty Allah”

“While in festive mood, I want to urge them to use the opportunity offered by Eid Al-fitr to pray for the peace and progress of Nigeria especially during this period that the country is facing a serious challenge of insecurity”

The Federal lawmaker also urged them not to deviate from the holy life they have been living during the Ramadan period as going back to their sinful way of life would render their fasting meaningless.

On a final note, Hon. Fatoba enjoined Muslim faithfuls to celebrate in moderation without flouting all COVID-19 protocol. He wished them happy celebration.
