A Governorship hopeful in the June 18, 2022 general election in Ekiti state, Engr Kayode Ojo, has advised Nigerian youths to keep up the fight against any injustice that can truncate their future ambition.
Speaking on behalf of their Principal to celebrate with the youths of Ekiti as they mark the International Youth Day 2021, the Engr.Kayode Ojo support team, applauded the doggedness of Ekiti youths home and in diaspora for working assiduously in having a better Ekiti for all.
The spokesperson for the KO Support Team 2022, Olajide Obasanjo in a statement issued to Platinum news, says Youths are not only the future leaders of this country, but are seen as strength of the society.
“People usually referred to the days when they were youths and not when they become old men. This is to show the importance and placement of youths in the subtleties of politics.
“If we pretend as if they do not count in politics and political matters, we are at great harm because they are always important.
“The youths are the live-current of nation building and charged Ekiti Youths that, “it is act of cowardice and abuse of individual conscience if they allow themselves to be used as political thugs, farm tools, dumped and left alone to agonize in the effects of being misled.
“It is time to sit and think about your today and let your tomorrow bring forth its fruits of yesterday pregnancy because your tomorrow carries your today’s vision.”
The group advised youths of voting age to go out and get their PVC, with the view of voting and be voted for as a credible leader with purpose, significant transparency with fear and wisdom of God.
He further tasked the youths to always give priority to the welfare of the people and be ready to revitalize the fortunes of Ekiti State, saying he offered himself to champion the course as one of the youths in the state.
The group assured that Kayode Ojo if given the opportunity is ready to change the landscape of the state within the next four years and usher it into a modern and global economy.
The group therefore wishes the entire Ekiti Youths happy International Youth Day.
