UDIROKO FESTIVAL: TAJ Greets And Felicitates With Ewi of Ado-Ekiti

The founder of TAJ Foundation, Mrs Tokunbo Ajila Jakande, has congratulated the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Dr Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi III, Ewi-in-Council and entire Ado Ekiti indigenes on the occasion of the celebration of year 2021 Udiroko festival.

TAJ prayed for blissful and abundant reign for the monarch and also wished all Ado Ekiti indigenes many celebrations of the festival.

TAJ who is noted for providing help for the aged people and educational support to less privileged children from primary school level to University level said,“Udiroko is a unique traditional festival that illustrates the richness and value of Ado Ekiti culture.”

She particularly commended Oba Adejugbe and his Ewi in council on the fatherly and traditional roles demonstrated at ensuring that the rich cultural heritage is promoted during the festival.

Udiroko is an annual traditional festival held in Ado Ekiti. It is usually a time sons and daughters of the ancient townhome and abroad come together to pray for the development of their community while they also showcase their rich cultural heritage.
