According to Force PRO ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the extension was approved by IGP Kayode Egbetokun, with the goal of addressing public concern, improving digital access, and enhancing transparency and user experience.

Applicants are reminded to use the official platform: https://possap.gov.ng and report extortion or illegal charges via hotline: 09169967000.

The NPF reiterated its commitment to citizen-friendly policing, digital innovation, and service improvement.

Says no enforcement will take place until the new deadline. Citizens are encouraged to take advantage of the grace period to comply.
