The Provost of Lagos State College of Health Technology (LASCOHET), Professor Raheem Olasupo Akewushola, has confirmed that the West Africa Health Examinations Board (WAHEB) is currently conducting the Year 2025 National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) examinations in Environmental Health Technology.
According to Prof. Akewushola, the nationwide examination commenced on Monday, 30th June, and will run until Friday, 4th July, 2025, with a total of 59 ND and 37 HND candidates from the College sitting for the professional examinations.
The examination, the Provost revealed, will qualify successful candidates for the award of National Diploma and Higher National Diploma certificates in Environmental Health Technology.
The Provost noted that WAHEB external examiners are fully responsible for the supervision, conduct, and invigilation of the examination to ensure transparency and uphold the highest standards.
Prof. Akewushola further appreciated the commitment of the College Management and staff, whose support has ensured a smooth and hitch-free conduct of the examination since it started on Monday.
He reiterated the institution’s dedication to producing highly competent Environmental Health Officers who will contribute effectively to the promotion of public health across the country.
