The Lagos State Agricultural Development Authority (LSADA) has celebrated the retirement of its Programme Manager, Engr. Aliru Adewale Alade, who bowed out after decades of dedicated service driving agricultural growth and food security in Lagos State.
Speaking at the send-forth event held on Wednesday, at the Agric Cooperative Hall, Oko Oba, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems, Mr. Emmanuel Fatai Audu, commended the retiring Programme Manager’s remarkable contributions to food security, farmers’ empowerment, and community development.
“His tenure brought to the fore the combined efforts of every component of the Authority, while ensuring our farmers are never left behind,” Mr. Audu remarked, urging all members of staff to continue working together and extend the same support to the incoming Programme Manager for greater impact.
Members of staff described Engr. Alade as “a goal-getter with a results-driven mindset and a humane approach to improving lives,” highlighting his exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to the welfare of farmers and communities across the state.
The event also featured the presentation of long service awards to the outgoing Programme Manager and several dedicated LSADA members in recognition of their years of commitment and loyalty to LSADA’s mission.
In his farewell message, Engr. Alade expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to serve, encouraging the team to keep advancing LSADA’s vision. “It has been an honour to contribute to the development of agriculture and food systems in Lagos State. I do not doubt that LSADA will continue to move forward with renewed energy and dedication,” he said.
The ceremony was attended by past Programme Managers of LSADA, General Managers of all agencies under the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems, farmers, and well-wishers, all of whom attested to Engr. Alade’s transformative leadership and legacy of service.
