President Bola Tinubu on Friday arrived in Kano for a sympathy visit over the passing of the late renowned businessman and philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Dantata.
The presidential flight zero-zero-one landed at the Aminu International Airport at about 3:30 pm Nigeria time.
He was received on arrival by a delegation led by the Kano state governor, Abba Yusuf.
Senate president, Godswill Akpabio is in company of the president for the trip.
In Kano, the President is scheduled to condole with the family of the deceased, people and government of Kano state.
Alhaji Aminu Dantata passed on in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on June 28, 2025 while President Tinubu was out of the country at the time. But he had directed some of his ministers, led by Defence Minister, Mohammed Badaru to attend the burial in Saudi Arabia as a mark of honour for the late nonagenarian.
